ORINOKIA Expedition


FULL DAY7 a.m. Leave to Aracaycú Camp.7:45 a.m. We arrive and have breakfast. Trip through the park, canyon and plateau; watch bird and visit a Chichita.9:30 a.m. Move to Rancho Alegre.10 a.m. Visit hipic dome, buffaloes, and wildlife farms. Departure to Mayagua.12 p.m. Arrive to Mayagua; visit indigenous community of Karina, handcrafts, a view of how casabe is hand made from the Yuca.2 p.m. Arrive to the fishermen and farm town called El Almacén; lunch in caney next to the river, with typical fish food and productos from the islands.4:30 p.m. Take a Bolivar Promotur boat, and watch the landscapes with the rivers breeze. Guided, narrated and with some national beverages included. We pass down the Angustura Bridge and border Ciudad Bolivar, having an excellent view of the most important places in town. 7 p.m. Arrival to the Nautic Club in Ciudad Bolivar and back to the hotel.

RORAIMA TEPUY


Departure from Cd. Bolivar to San Francisco de Yuruani.Day 1. Breakfast, leave Cd. Bolivar, to San Francisco de Yuruani. We visit differetn towns of the state, have lunch in a small town and dinner in San Francisco de Yuruani.


Day2. Brealfast. Jeep tour to Paraytepuy. 2 hrs. trekking to Kuken Reiver. Lunch, Rest for 2 hrs. aprox. Trekk to base Camp (Tek River). Sleep over in tends.


Day 3. Breakfast. Climb up to Roraima base (aprox 2 hrs). Arrive to the border wall of the Tepuy. Lunch y rest for aprox. 2 hrs. Climb up and arrive the Hotel (small cave). dinner and sleep over in the caves.


Day 4. Breakfast. Climb up to the Roraima Craddle. Visit the Great crack, the abyss. Lunch for about 1 hour. Trekk to the Triple Point. Dinner and sleep n tends.


Day 5. Breakfast. Visit the Crystal Valley, the Lagoon, the rock monument, and watch the nature of Roraima. Lunch and Trekk back to the ramp. Arrival to the Base Camp. Dinner and sleep.


Day 6. Breakfast. Trekk back to the Kukenan river. Lunch. Rest for a while and walk back to Paraitepuy. Retur to San Francisco de Yuruani on jeeps. End of the Tour.

CANAIMA 3 Days/4 Nights (From La Paragua).


Day 1. 8:00 a.m. we leave Ciudad Bolivar on a van heading to San Francisco La Paragua, a Miners town. From there we fly to Canaima, having a view of different rivers and Tepuis, landing next to de the Canaima Lagoon. Vist the LAgoon and have lunch on the camp. We sail the lagoon to have a better look of the 4 waterfalls so we can visit the Toad Falls, walking thorugh it so we can continue the tour through the Carrao River on a wooden boat. After bordering the Auyantepuy we reach the Aonda Canyon, where our camp is. Seep over on hammocks and have dinner.


Day 2. 8:00 a.m. Breakfast and taking the Aonda, Carrao and Churùn rivers to reach the devil´s Canyon, having our firs impression of the Angel Falls from Mouse Island. After an hour and a half of trekking to Laime Viewpoint, and take photos we walk 10 more minutes to "La Poza" a natural swimming pool were we swim for a while. Walk back to Mouse Island, have a traditional native meal and sleep over on the camp in the island.


Day 3. (optional) 10:00 a.m. Breakfast, trip back to Canaima. Visit some indigenous town, walk around Canaima Lagoon, visitng the Lover´s Beach and a Cocktail Dinner. Sleep Over.


Day 4. Breakfast, and flight back to La Paragua, then make our way back to Ciudad Bolivar.

CANAIMA 3 Days / 2 Nights (Direct)


Day 1. 8:00 a.m. Departure from Ciudad Bolivar, direct to Canaima airport. During the flight we get to see Paragua, Chiguao, Caroni River, part of the Guri Lake, some indian communities, gold mines and some tepuis. After a tour around Canaima Laggon we have lunch at the camp, then visit the 4 waterfalls in Canaima and visit the Toad Falls walking through it. We start the boat trip in the Carrao River, boredering the impressive Auyantepuy until we reach the Aonda Camp, inside the Aonda Canyon, in the middle of the jungle.


Day 2. 8:00 a.m. Breakfast, we take a boat ride thorugh the Aonda, Carrao and Churún rivers to reach the Devil´s Canyon. Have the first look of the Angel Falls while descending on Mouse Island, from where we star an hour and a half trekking to Laime Viewpoint. Afterwards we walk 10 more minutes to "La Poza", a natural pool in the lowest part of the falls. Take a swim and walk back to Mouse Island. Have a traditional meal, bond with native people, have dinner and sleep in hammocks.


Day 3. (Optional) Back from Angel Falls to Canaima campo. Lunch and visit some indigenous towns, chill at the Lagoon, visit the Lover´s Beach and have a cocktail dinner.Day 4. Breakfast and flight back to Ciudad Bolivar.

7 Rivers Expedition ANGEL FALLS No plane


Day 1. 6:00 a.m. We leave Cd. Bolivar to reach La Paragua, small miner town. After 2 1/2 hours, we take a boat through PAragua River, Guri Lake and Chigua River, to the indigenous community "Eustacio", where we sleep on hammocks.


Day 2. 7:00 a.m. Breakfast. We start the jungle trekking for 6 hours, walking on ancestral paths to reach the native community of "Las Bonitas", were we spend the second night, have dinner and bond with the natives.


Day 3. 6:00 a.m. After Breakfast we walk for about an hour having a beautiful tepuyan landscape, with the Nonoi Tepuy as a port of it. After taking a half an hour boat trip in the Caroni River, we trekk on the Taute Hills for anodther hour and half to finally reach the meeting point with the Canaima operators to be driven to de Canaima Lagoon and start the regular trip to Angel Falls.(The way back is on a half hour plane to La Paragua and then a van to Ciudad Bolivar).
